ps: In order to avoid any misinterpretation from the recipient. I didn't add "ไปเรียนต่อเมืองนอก" in the sentence as it may sounds like you are bragging about it a bit. I also swap "ลูกสาวฉันกำลังสอบชิงทุนไปเรียนต่อเมืองนอก" and "แล้วเธอไม่ขายเสื้อผ้าทุกๆวันศุกร์แล้วเหรอ?" a bit to show that you are taking interests in the recipient's welfare.
